Terms and Conditions
Michel Chalets caters for weddings, functions and accommodation. Following are the terms and conditions that we trade with and require signed acknowledgement. We are able to arrange or co-ordinate as much as or as little you require.
Tentative Booking
Tentatives bookings are held for 7 days only, and will automatically lapse unless
confirmed.
Confirmation/Cancellation booking
A Booking Deposit is required of $750 to secure your date is a non refundable deposit This is to secure your date. Should the wedding be cancelled at a later date the deposit and any future subsequent payments are non refundable.

Please note All money payed to Michel Chalets is non refundable even if the date is resold. If you do not accept these terms please do not proceed with your booking.
In the unlikely event you need to cancel your booking all monies paid to Michel Chalets will
not be refunded.
Guest Numbers and Requirements
Minimum 60 guests.
Maximum 100 sit down and 120 standup cocktail style.
If three weeks prior to the date of your function, when final numbers are required, the
number of guests decrease below the minimum required on your package, you will still be
charged for the minimum number of guests required on your package as signed off on
your contract.
Bond
A bond of $750 must be paid when Arriving and acts as a bond against any damages or infringements to Michel Chalets that may occur on your wedding/function date such as breakages, extended function times,& excessive cleaning.
If none of the above apply only then will the bond become refundable 3-5 working days after the date of your function.
Alcohol
Michel Chalets is BYO. You may bring your own alcohol and store them in the fridge
provided. Guests will not be permitted behind bar. All alcohol will be served by our
waitstaff.
Michel Chalets expects that all guests act responsibly and that the hosts of the function
assist with any situation that may arise that is unsuitable and find a means of
transportation of any guests that are not behaving in a decent manner.
If a situation gets out of hand the security bond will apply and the removal of person/s and
or early closure of event will result.
When proceeding with your booking please sign off on the last 2 pages and return with
your Security deposit of $750 to secure your Wedding/Function date
Payment Schedule Agreement
1: Security deposit $750 to secure the wedding date This non-refundable if the booking is
cancelled,This acts as bond and will only be refunded 3-5 days after the event.Any
damages incurred by any parties will forfeit the Security deposit
2: 3 months from Security – $2,000
3: 6 Months from Security – $2,000
4: 8 Weeks prior to the Wedding – balance
