Maleny is not on a major highway, it is actually off the beaten track. Very few people are passing through so roadside accommodation catering for the road traveler is not in great demand. If you are a traveler passing through Maleny and you are looking for a bed, try a bed and breakfast as it provides a similar service. The competition amongst bed and breakfasts in Maleny has brought prices down to a similar range to a roadside motel.
